Perkins Park Stuttgart: club diversity plus music diversity
Party at Perkins Park – that has always been the event location’s motto. However, the scale of the celebrations at the beginning, when the monumental estate hosted the opening ceremonies of the 1939 garden show, was certainly not as extensive as it is today.
Located at Höhenpark Killesberg, the venue was the top name for entertainment and dancing. Over time, the former Killesberg park restaurant fell into oblivion. It was then revitalised as an exclusive club in 1980. From the outside and inside, Perkins Park is a real eye-catcher with its large glass window facade and magnificent panoramic view of the city. But it’s more about partying than watching in the large and small club with its varied sound, lounge, restaurant and spacious outdoor area.

FunSportEvents Laser Tag and Virtual Reality Stuttgart: a great quest
Before the game starts, you first have to put on your gear. In other words, vest on and laser pistol (phaser) ready to hand. Just like paintball, laser tag is always played in teams.
However, there is also the ‘everyone against everyone’ variant. The teams have to solve various tasks on a quest. The principle is similar to cops and robbers, but transferred to our times – with modern technical means. When players collect points by marking others or special targets with their phaser, they advance to higher levels during the game. This, in turn, unlocks additional functions. Laser tag is not only entertaining and great fun, but also promotes responsiveness, tactics, cooperation, exercise and frustration tolerance.

FunSportsEvents Indoor Paintball Stuttgart: it’s all about the tactics
For anyone who has never played paintball before: yes, it is a real sport and, yes, it requires concentration, skill and attention. And you also need to be fast.
The game is played as a tactical team sport. The aim is to use markers and coloured balls to capture a flag and then bring it to your own starting position, the base, without being marked yourself. You play in a team and groups are formed. In each round, as many players as possible, regardless of whether they are beginners or experienced paintballers, should get a turn – or rather a shot. Paintball is played with special equipment and different types of gear, which you can hire on site. Note: participants must be at least 18 years old.

Zugwiesen Neckar biotope: natural habitat and recreational area
The renaturalisation of the local floodplain landscape has a double effect: on the one hand, it creates a valuable ecosystem for flora and fauna with a view of the striking steep slope and, on the other hand, the area directly on the Necker is also a relaxing retreat for locals and visitors alike.
You can find out more about the Neckar biotope on the themed trail or during a guided tour. Another highlight: in collaboration with the city of Ludwigsburg, a monitoring system has been installed that provides underwater insights thanks to the ‘Riverwatcher’, enabling you to observe the migration of fish, for example. High above the water level, from the Storchennest observation tower, you can also enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the entire biotope and the Neckar. The visit is free of charge and access is possible at any time.
